DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance):
DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance. It enables multi-branded digital products to interoperate and share digital content, making it easier to connect and enjoy music, photos and videos in any room of your home.
DTCP (Digital Transmission Content Protection):
DTCP is a method of protecting audio and audiovisual entertainment content over high-speed, high-bandwidth bidirectional digital interfaces on consumer electronics entertainment and information products. Using DTCP, content can travel between these devices or across a digital home network. Content that arrives to your home in protected form remains protected against unauthorized retransmission and copying.
Digital Media Renderer (DMR):
These devices play content received from a digital media controller (DMC), which will find content from a digital media server (DMS).
These devices store content and make it available to networked digital media players (DMP) and digital media renderers (DMR).
These devices find content offered by a digital media server (DMS) and provide playback and rendering capabilities.
